Security Policy

The Security Policy of REMUNER reflects the concepts, principles, responsibilities, and objectives in matters of security, ensuring the company the necessary freedom of action.

The objective of REMUNER’s Comprehensive Security is to protect the employees, maintain the confidentiality of communications, and ensure the integrity of information. It also protects other assets that make up the company’s resources, such as facilities and all types of content.

Comprehensive Security encompasses the traditional concepts of physical and logical (technological) security to maintain business continuity in the face of any adverse circumstance.

Increasing the “security culture” among company staff will provide clear benefits by enhancing the security of systems and procedures, minimizing the risk of potential malicious actions.

Principles

Integration. Global Security is an integrated process aligned with the business, involving the entire company.

Profitability. Security is guided by business criteria, taking into account the relationship between cost and investment. Its standards are set centrally, leveraging any existing synergies. This management approach enables overall cost reduction and improved efficiency in security efforts.

Continuity. Security must be present throughout its entire cycle: protection, prevention, detection, response, and recovery.

Adaptation. The resources used must be suited to the business environment. Factors impacting security levels include competition with other companies, social, political, and economic disruptions, and both amateur and professional hacking activities.

It is essential that all information regarding security matters flows through the appropriate channels to the company’s decision-making bodies.

Responsibilities

Ultimate responsibility for security rests with the management team, which is directly responsible for managing its development and implementation.

The management team will analyze the security risks and vulnerabilities that could affect business operations, and will propose the appropriate standards, resources, and measures to mitigate them.

All organization personnel must take responsibility for maintaining the security of the assets under their care, following the security guidelines established by the management team.

Objectives

Achieve and maintain the required security level to ensure adequate business continuity, even in adverse situations.

Enhance the integration and mutual support of the physical and logical aspects of security.

Collaborate in the management of other security disciplines, including labor and environmental aspects, in alignment with Corporate Social Responsibility criteria.

Establish the corporate security structure defined by the organization’s decision-making bodies, and create effective communication channels among all stakeholders.

Comply with official security regulations and other relevant requirements.

Implement Training and Security Awareness Plans to improve personnel training.

Express commitment to continuous improvement.

Integrate the various departments of the company into a security management system that, under common criteria, leverages synergies and achieves consistency in resources and actions.

All REMUNER personnel will know and apply the regulations derived from this Security Policy.
